Fintech Europe, Plug and Play’s fintech-focused innovation platform based out of Frankfurt, Germany, announced today to include three startups into their Fintech Cohort 2021.

After conducting a profound screening of applications and joint reviewing with the partners, 18 startups pitched their solutions during Selection Day. Among those, three startups were carefully selected by the Plug and Play team based on their engagement with their corporate partners: Aareal Bank, Abanca, Alfa Bank, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, DZ Bank, Nets Group, Nexi, Raiffeisen Bank International, UBI Banca, and UniCredit.

The program has recently been updated to a new format involving three technology-focused Trend Forums Days where the partners will get to know the most future-looking fintechs to collaborate and integrate them into their business units. Throughout the duration of the cohort program, the startups will be mentored, receive exclusive access to workshops and will have the chance to execute pilot projects and investment opportunities with the Plug and Play partners. There is no cost for the startups to be in the program and they will remain part of the ecosystem even after graduation during their Fintech EXPO in 2022.

The three companies accepted into the Fintech Cohort 2021 are as follows:

etvas

etvas is the digital marketplace for value-add services that enhance products to increase customer loyalty and revenue. As the first platform, they connect all providers of extra-service with banks, insurers and e-commerce merchants under one digital roof and with just one click.

TrustElevate verifies under-16s’ ages and, for under-13s, it verifies parental responsibility so a parent can give consent to their children’s access to, purchasing on and data processing by platforms and online services.
